Our Founder’s Story
Nurxery Christian Academy was founded by Shaina Allensworth, a Family Nurse Practitioner and former NICU nurse. After years of caring for vulnerable infants and hearing parents’ frustrations about constant illness and unreliable childcare, Shaina felt called to step beyond the clinic walls and create a new standard of care.
Building on years of medical training and experience, she is reimagining childcare — blending healthcare insight, early education excellence, and faith-based care to build better early learning experiences for children, families, and educators alike.
